The plate heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger composed of a series of metal plates with a certain corrugated shape stacked together. It is an efficient and ideal device for liquid-to-liquid and liquid-to-vapor heat exchange and is widely used in many fields such as marine, shipbuilding, power, metallurgy, petroleum, and chemical industries. TA1 pure titanium strips, due to their good mechanical properties and excellent corrosion resistance, as well as good welding performance, have certain advantages in seawater desalination, marine environments, and harsh environments with high acid resistance. They are increasingly used in plate heat exchangers as one of the important corrosion-resistant structural materials.

 


The room temperature mechanical properties and Erichsen cup values of TA1 pure titanium strip are shown in Table 1.

TA1 pure titanium strip is widely used in petrochemical equipment due to its excellent corrosion resistance, especially when titanium is used instead of stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, or other rare metals as a corrosion-resistant material. This is of great significance in extending the service life of equipment, reducing maintenance costs, and preventing product contamination. Plate heat exchangers have many excellent features, such as high heat transfer efficiency, small footprint, and ease of cleaning. At the same time, the TA1 titanium plate heat exchanger is a new, high-efficiency heat exchanger with a corrugated heat transfer surface, widely used in the heating, cooling, condensation, and evaporation processes in the chemical, petroleum, metallurgical, power, shipbuilding, marine, and pharmaceutical industries. With further recognition of the advantages of plate heat exchangers and the expansion of their application fields, the development of plate heat exchangers has been rapid, and they have now become a major type of heat exchange equipment.
 


Figure 1 shows the TA1 pure titanium strip coil used to produce plate heat exchangers, and Figure 2 shows a plate heat exchanger formed by pressing. The corrugation on the product surface is the heat transfer surface, making it an efficient and ideal device for liquid-to-liquid and liquid-to-vapor heat exchange.
